David is an experienced Chartered Surveyor with over 40 years of expertise in all aspects of professional property work, specialising in lease advisory, including rent reviews and lease renewals, commercial property management, non-domestic rating, rights of light disputes, and Arbitration and Independent Expert referrals. David is a recognised Expert Witness in the County and High Courts, Valuation Tribunal and Upper Chamber.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a member of the Institute Rating and Revenue Valuers, and a member of the RICS Dilapidations Forum Steering Committee and a contributing author of the current edition of the Pre-Action Protocol for Claims for Damages in Relation to the Physical State of Commercial Property at Termination of a Tenancy (the 'Dilapidations Protocol'). 

As a Registered Valuer and Expert Witness, David has a proven track record of providing reliable and persuasive evidence in support of his clients' positions. David is also a recognised specialist in Assessments of Diminution in Value under Section 18(1) of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1927.
