Nigel is a seasoned Chartered Surveyor and Fellow of RICS with over 30 years' experience advising and representing both private and corporate clients on a wide range of commercial property services. Nigel's expertise covers lease advisory, including rent reviews, 1954 Act lease renewals, lease extension and re-structuring, dilapidations and diminution in value (as a recognised Diminution Valuer), valuations, property management, business rates appeals as well as investments and commercial lettings. He is also a skilled negotiator and committed to building long term relationships with clients.
His involvement extends to most types of business space, from leisure and retail to medical, office, and industrial. As a Registered Valuer and experienced Expert Witness, Nigel has extensive involvement in arbitration, mediation, tribunal and court proceedings, and his reputation as an Expert Witness Valuer is well established.
Nigel has contributed to RICS iSURV on the topic of Dilapidations and Diminution in Value, and has been involved in high-profile cases that have relied on his expertise including the case of Car Giant Limited and Another v Hammersmith and Fulham (2017) EWHC 197 (TCC) [High Courts of Justice (Queen's Bench Division - Technology and Construction Court)].
